TDS6 - Risers - hydrants - water cannon
 Created Date: 01-05-2016

The FHC hydraulic calculation software can calculate almost any type of fire protection system where water is discharged from a device. This is often a fire sprinkler or water mist nozzle, but we can also calculate wet or dry riser outlets, fire hydrants and water cannons. The list is not limited to these devices, but they are probably the most common; you can apply the same principles as outlined in this technical data sheet to foam pourers, hose reels and other devices where you know the required pressure and flow at the outlet

TDS7 - Interpreting the FHC report
 Created Date: 11-01-2023

This technical data sheet provides information on how to interpret the FHC hydraulic calculation report and
each item.

The report is divided into three sections:

  1. The first page provides an overall summary of the project (project data and design parameters)
  2. Operating sprinkler heads, nozzles, and hydrant
  3. Hydraulically significant pipes

TDS7 - Understanding FHC Report

This technical data sheet provides information on how to interpret the FHC hydraulic calculation report and each item of information.

TDS8 - FHC with foam systems
 Created Date: 11-01-2023

Explains how to model foam-enhanced sprinkler, deluge and cannon systems in FHC to NFPA 11, covering proportioner pressure loss and water supply.
