This draft water mist standard is intended for domestic and residential properties to provide both life and property protection, and it is assumed that water mist systems will become an integrated part of the building's fire safety system.
As the standard only allows the water mist system to be installed in buildings less than 20m in height and with a room size no larger than 8m x 4m, which is the size of the test room detailed in Annexe A of the standard.
